What you'll be doing This senior management position requires an energetic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication, organization, and technical skills to work cross functionally with other organizations (internal and external), who can communicate at all levels of management. This is a unique opportunity for a senior professional who enjoys a high-level of independence, visibility and responsibility. Lead software development related to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and related wireless technologies for next generation consumer products. Provide technical direction, guidance, and hands-on management. Participate in product development from concept to mass production. Partner with external chipset vendors in integrating device drivers and other SW modules Manage defect tracking and resolution on an ongoing basis Recruit and manage a world class software engineering team. We're excited if you have 3+ years of experience in a software leadership role at a Manager or Sr Manager level. Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience (Masters preferred). Extensive experience with Wi-Fi networking software, embedded Linux and system-on-a-chip (SoC) development. Proven track record of shipping high quality software on embedded platforms. Experience working with ODM and building products for mass production. Ability to see the big picture while focused on short-term objectives. Proven ability to manage external vendors.
