Ultra Cyber is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager, with an engineering background, to work from our Tampa, FL location. The successful candidate will support our current and future embedded cryptographic development (Crypto) programs for various mission critical applications. This position may require travel (up to 5%) to support customer meetings and off-site development/testing.

Job Description:

  • Have the overall responsibility for managing revenue, gross margins, cost and profit elements of multiple projects
  • Ensure the Earned Value Metrics are correct and aligned with the financial targets for each of the projects
  • Develop and maintain project schedules (in MS Project), to provide weekly updates including resource level loading and baseline management
  • Identify, track and mitigate programmatic and technical risks
  • Conduct/support internal/external customer program milestone reviews to include presentation material development
  • Responsible for monthly project executive reviews
  • Manage and mentor direct reports to include engineering resources - software, hardware, systems, and program support resources, such as a project engineer
  • Manage program personnel and engineering tasks across multiple projects to accomplish program objectives, with support from project engineer
  • Work with Contracts, Finance, Human Resources and Procurement departments in support of program activities
  • Lead and/or support proposal development to win follow on work and/or new programs
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
  • Collaborate with Business Development Director to develop strategic plans for business growth based on short-term and long-term goals, communicate those goals to your team, and guide them to success
  • Creation and delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to include, but not limited to: Program Management Plan; Risk Management Plan; Monthly Status Reports
  • Manage deadlines and priorities as well as provide problem-solving skills

Job Requirements:
Required Skills:

  • Active US Government Secret Security Clearance. Security Clearances are granted to US Citizens.
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in an engineering development Program Manager leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in full lifecycle product development in both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Possess one or more of the following:
    • Experience with working with the Defense and Major DoD Prime Contractors;
    • Familiar with Cryptographic Products development and/or use;
    • EKMS/KMI expertise - Tier 0, 1, 2, 3 and ECU level.
  • PMP Certification or ability to obtain PMP certification within first year of employment
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools including Project, EVMS tools, Risk Management Tools, Action Item Tools, SharePoint or similar configuration management repository tool

Desired Skills:

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Proven, strong business acumen and a track record for growing the business
  • Background in COMSEC/Cryptographic Product Development and/or use in the field
  • Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) knowledge
  • Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) knowledge
  • COMSEC Accounting, Reporting and Distribution System (CARDS) experience
  • Understanding and familiarity with a Central Office of Record (COR)
  • Knowledgeable on EKMS Tier 2 Applications (DMD PS, ACES/JACS, LMD UAS's)
  • Knowledgeable on Tier 3 Electronic Key Fill Devices
  • COMSEC Trained/Briefed
  • NSA Program or Type 1 Certification Experience
  • Understanding of the DoD Acquisition Process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing and document development skills
  • Ability to interact with customer and contract representatives
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to lead complex tasks
