What You'll Do:


  • Work on a full range of electrical planning, design, and operational services for wastewater projects.

  • Design work 75% of the time, with field site work and project management 25% of the time.

  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and clients as you design portions of projects related to electrical systems and code requirements, including power, lighting, instrumentation, and controls.

  • Research and specify equipment needs based on commercially available equipment, project, and available technologies.

  • Determine costs for proposed work and oversee costs during all phases of the projects.

  • Coordinate design and scheduling progress with HVAC, mechanical, administrative, process, and equipment vendors.

  • Conduct periodic site observations and guide relevant services required by the contract service agreement.


What You'll Bring:


  • Five or more years of experience in electrical power and/or SCADA design and construction.

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent training.

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit.

  • Interest in working in the consulting industry.

  • A current Wisconsin Professional Engineer or Designer of Engineering Systems license or the wherewithal to obtain one within six months, with company assistance.

  • Desirable: Experience in the industrial, commercial, or municipal water/wastewater markets, along with knowledge of water and wastewater processes from an electrical standpoint.

  • Teamwork, communication skills, client service skills, and vendor management skills.
