This role will be with knowledge of data science framework, plant operations, computer architecture, systems modeling and simulations, and analytics. Support of plant controls, data management for high volume data streams (Big Data), computer architecture development and implementation. This position will support the implementation of the Remote Control Center in Houston for Anlian and Fujian, and then London and China. This includes both software and hardware for these locations.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in systems modeling and simulation (M&S) for petrochemical plants; data science skillset a plus.
Expert knowledge of M&S tools and techniques supporting plant design, engineering, and operations preferably in a Refinery and/or Petrochem plant environment.
Strong systems M&S knowledge with leading software tools from vendors such as Siemens, AVEVA, Bentley, GPPROMS Suite, Kongsberg Digital, ANSYS, ProSim, ASPEN, Honeywell and others.
Ability to think differently and adapt new technologies such as ML/AI with physics-based modeling to achieve higher levels of accuracy in prediction.
Understanding of what the current M&S state-of-the-art is, and how we can be an industry leader.
Major in Chemical and Mechanical engineering, Physics .Above Master degree.
Preferred a background with a large system developer, system integrator, systems engineering company, vendor of control systems, vendor of modeling and simulation software or an industrial AI company
Has work for EPC engineering vendors in a team environment, major O&G operators, or O&G service provider.
Has been responsible for detail modeling & simulation from systems level to full 3d/4d fidelity/complexity.
Knowledge of systems optimization techniques with such tools as ROMeo, UniSim, HEEDS, ProcessBuilder, and OptiSlang is essential.
Has the ability to develop and manage detailed simulation requirements and implement results across multiple petrochemical and refinery plant operations.
Has the ability to interact with software and hardware vendors in support of Design, Engineering, and Operational plant activities.
Experience with multi-site multi language international systems development desirable
plant control systems and plant maintenance knowledge preferred
