Overview MSA has an opportunity for a full time Municipal Project Engineer at our Appleton, WI office on the Public Works Service Line. Responsibilities The work you will do Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC Preparing proposals, budgets and working closely to assist in winning new work Client relations including council meetings with existing and new clients Design of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects Assist with mentoring junior staff Qualifications What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience: We are looking for someone self-motivated with a desire to be hands on with the ability to be a seller/doer Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required 5 or more years of experience including municipal or transportation engineering, client management, and project management required The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of municipal or transportation engineering experience including municipal road and utility projects PE license required (WI PE preferred) Prior experience in consulting preferred Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred Personality & Cultural Fit: Honesty & Integrity Commitment to learning Respect & care for employees Openness Client focused Independent yet collaborative Results oriented Creative problem solver Positive attitude Cooperation / teamwork Flexible Dependable Benefits We tried to narrow it down to just 5 reasons to work at MSA, but we couldn't stop ourselves!
