As a Construction Project Manager with K-12 experience, you will play a crucial role in leading projects that enhance educational facilities and impact students' lives. You'll be leading a team on projects in the Stockton area and will be required to go to the job site a couple of days a week with the other days being remote/work from home.

As a Construction Project Manager with K-12 experience, you will play a crucial role in leading projects that enhance educational facilities and impact students' lives.
Description
- Lead the end-to-end project management of K-12 construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and school officials to develop project plans, designs, and construction schedules.
- Navigate the unique challenges and requirements of K-12 construction projects, including permitting, regulations, safety considerations, and community engagement.
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources, and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
- Coordinate and oversee the bidding process, contractor selection, and contract negotiation to secure qualified and reliable partners.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures, ensuring that construction work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
- Monitor construction site activities, resolve issues, and make timely decisions to keep projects on track.
- Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years in construction project management, specifically with a focus on K-12 projects.
- In-depth knowledge of K-12 construction regulations, codes, and compliance requirements.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality in construction practices.
