Kelly Engineering Resources has a great direct hire Principal Project Engineer/Manager- Renewable Energy role with global industry leader experiencing dynamic growth in the Sheboygan, WI area. The Principal Project Engineer/Manager is part of a Corporate Infrastructure/Facilities group and supports the company's transformation and growth by helping to develop the energy strategy and providing feasibility studies, design oversight, and management/coordination of renewable energy projects and initiatives. This position is also responsible for facilitating the energy projects incentive and rebate program.
**Project Manager Responsibilities:**
+ Support the strategic plan for 100% renewable electricity by 2035. Track proposed and completed renewable electricity projects against the strategic plan road map and provide quarterly updates to senior management
+ Partner with internal design teams and business stakeholders to perform assessments of existing systems (electrical/lighting, natural gas, steam, HVAC, etc.) to optimize energy efficiency, lower operating costs, and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Identify opportunities, develop, and lead energy reduction projects and initiatives.
+ Perform feasibility assessments and develop business cases for the installation or modification of renewable energy, CHP, and microgrid systems. This includes sourcing energy credits and rebates.
+ Manage projects of varying complexity. This includes defining the scope of work, coordinating the development of plans, performing value-engineering assessments, developing the business case, managing the bid package development/bidding process, budget tracking, construction management/project oversight, coordination of easements, local government approvals, and lease payments.
**Project Manager Requirements**
+ Experience leading renewable energy projects/programs
+ Experience working with building system Designers, Engineers, and construction teams.
+ Experience applying engineering theories, standards, concepts, resources, and techniques to microgrids, renewable energy systems, energy storage systems, and cogeneration systems.
+ BS Degree in Engineering or related discipline; PMP certification a plus
