Job Summary:
We're looking for an Overhead Crane Operator who would operate the equipment to move the steel around the warehouse, load and unload trucks and work in shipping and receiving.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing Experiences a Plus
• Must have steel-toe boots
• Shipping/Receiving paperwork
• Reading a micrometer

Job Requirements:

• Understand crane operator manual for safe crane operation
• Maintain crane and hoisting mechanism
• Start and stop crane engine
• Performing daily crane inspection(s)
• Maintain crane and hoisting mechanism
• Set up of crane before operations
• Operator a 30-ton crane
• Set up crane for heavy lifts
• Utilize crane with the appropriate capacity
• Reading books/magazines in the crane
• Attach load to hook or other crane accessory prior to operating crane
• Attach load to hook or other crane accessory prior to operating crane Job Requirements
• Stabilizing the crane before the lift
• Maintain a safe and productive crane
• Perform daily crane and chain inspections
• Install rigs and remove crane attachments
• Moving crane pads and dunnage to specified areas to work with in placing crane parts
• Operate crane according to signals from helper
• Lubricate motor and moving parts of crane
• Calculating crane capacity and performing rigging calculations
