LinQuest is seeking an MBSE architect to join our team in Lexington, MA. You will join a team that is involved in a synergistic combination of research, proof-of-concept test beds, and system engineering/application efforts focused on the goals of enhancing the capacity, the robustness to interference, and the flexibility of future generations of communication systems. Promising research results are verified in hardware/software proof-of-concept implementations that provide quantitative performance data as well as complexity information. Your task will be to assist a new division that is focused on bringing Digital Engineering (DE) concepts to help further Department of Defense Research and Development efforts. DE will help deliver critical leading edge technology faster to the warfighter. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with project teams to develop architectures and supporting documentation Elicit and capturing stakeholder needs in models Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents Provide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and systems engineering software. Required Skills Fluency with modeling tools and the SysML language Ability to apply enterprise architecture concepts to specific communication terminal functions. Capacity to design MBSE tool software scripts to interface SysML models with other models and data repositories while supporting the autogeneration of documentation for stakeholder engagement, configuration control, and technical and programmatic activities. Proficiency in generating different graphical user interface options between stakeholders and developed models based off stakeholder skills, information security requirements and capabilities, and configuration control needs. Preferred Skills Understanding of, and experience, with operations and technical characteristics of communication systems. Demonstrated knowledge and experience regarding communication terminal requirements analysis and operations. Expertise in the areas of DoD acquisition/requirements processes, systems analysis, and engineering. REQUIRED Experience: BS in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience 3-5 years' experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) modeling Experience in system requirements test and verification Experience in Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Experience with Sparx EA Strong written and verbal communications skills COVID-19 Compliance Guidelines: As a federal contractor, all LinQuest team members must comply with Executive Order 14042- Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, which includes mandatory vaccination and ability to provide proof of vaccination status prior to start of employment.
