(Senior) Lead Electrician Job Description Northern OR Southern California
Install solar (PV) on commercial customer rooftops and ground mounts
Safely climb ladders and work on roofs using safety harness.
Install mounting systems, solar panels and MPU's.
Electrical wiring of solar array/system (DC and AC).
Proficient in all electrical troubleshooting.
Submits daily checklist as well as provides mid-day job status update to Project Management.
Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor, communicating effectively with the customer and treating the customer with respect.
Previous solar (PV) installation experience on commercial projects.
Ability to connect CT's after MPU.
Strong understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on commercial PV installations
Ability to commission and place a system on standby mode.
Understands the use of tape measure, safety gear, email, internet, & other communication tool.
Understands company communication standards.
Adhere to the use of T-sheet or any of the time keeping system.
Understands Solar Panel, Inverter, and Battery ratings.
Understands plan set for all trades & installation game plays.
Install solar mounts perfectly
Understands how to bend conduit, wire size, conduit fill and tables.
Know how to pre-site audit (trained, not primary responsibility)
Takes full responsibility of work performed.
Ability to delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew.
Ability to train others effectively
Ability to review and correct the crews timesheet for the assigned crew
Makes critical decision with a manager if job needs corrections at the time of install.

Must be physically able to work on roofs as well as lift 50+ pounds
