Jardeg is currently recruiting for Journeyman Carpenters to join the team currently constructing the BHP Jansen Potash Project, located approximately 140km east of Saskatoon.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
Build forms for concrete
Constructs and forms chutes for pouring concrete
Working from blueprints instructions from supervisors does layout-measuring, marking and arranging of various construction materials
Cut, shape and join
Checks accuracy of works and makes adjustments as required
Studies blueprints for work planning
Acts as a work leader and mentors to apprentice carpenters
Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures

Education/Experience:

Journeyperson status OR minimum Or an equivalent combination of experience, training and education
CSTS/SCOT
WHIMIS
Fall Protection
AWP
Confined Space
