This role is a 1-year temporary position.

Note: We are open to other regional Enbridge locations.

What you will do:

Provide niche knowledge related to instrumentation on liquid hydrocarbon pipelines and related facility asset.

Serve as the focal point for regional instrumentation service activities performed by operations and projects ensuring all safety, quality, reliability and operational expectations are met.

Lead instrumentation activities through the management of change process or provide technical feedback on changes by other partners.

Provide support related to operational events and help tackle system and device problems.

Independently lead or support the development of appropriate documentation outlining design requirements, assumptions, and expectations such that the project scope can be easily communicated to other relevant departments within Enbridge.

Who you are:

Bachelor s degree, technical diploma in Engineering or Journeyman certification with a specialization in Instrumentation, Process Control or Electrical Systems.

12 years or more experience at an experienced level in instrumentation design and engineering within the pipeline, oil & gas industry.

Significant experience with root cause analysis.

Proven track record to anticipate and promptly identify potential problems and take corrective action before they become crisis by using depth technical knowledge and analytical skills to reach a logical conclusion.

Knowledge of liquid pipeline and facility operations.

Ability to lead multiple assignments while meeting established timelines.

Effective and professional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with peers, management and internal/external partners.

Working Conditions:

Office environment.

5% of travel to construction or operating sites.
