Sofina Foods is looking for individuals who want to learn how to be a proficient Butcher. We provide an on site Knife Training Program, where you will learn directly from our dedicated Trainers who have decades of industry knowledge. No previous experience required!

What we have to offer
•After training: $19.15/ hour to $23.00/hour based on skill set
•Training rate: $18.50/ hour
•Start time: 6:00 AM or 6:20 AM, Monday- Friday;
•After training start times: 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM
•Frequent overtime available;
•$1,000 referral bonus for each successful referral;
•Monthly perfect attendance bonus. Up to $2000 extra a year!;
•Full benefits (health, dental and vision) after probation;
•On site cafeteria;
•Along a bus route and next to the Appleby GO station;
•Company provided knife sets.
• Cut, skin, trim and prepare various cuts of pork
• Portion meat to Company specifications to control waste
• Utilize knives for trimming and portioning with ease and control
• Remove organs and other parts from hogs
• Cut hogs into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging
• Remove bones from meat
