Job Description:

We are seeking a Tailings Dozer operator with prior experience for one of our clients in Northern Alberta. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in open pit mines and have experience with operating multiple pieces of heavy equipment.

Shift: 7/7 working 12 hours shifts. (Days and nights required). Flights (from Edmonton or Calgary) and camp available or locals also welcome.

What would you be doing?

Operating a Dozer in a tailings cell
Carrying out groundwork in the tailings area of the mine
Operate assigned heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures and standards
Participate in all safety and culture building programs
Train on new equipment when requested

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Valid driver s license with 3 year drivers abstract required
Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
Minimum 4000 hours of experience operating a D6+ is required
Previous experience as a labourer
Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator working with Articulating Trucks, Excavators or Graders is an asset
Open pit mining experience is an asset
Ability to do labour and ground work
High school diploma and post-secondary degree an asset

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing,audiogram, and maskfit.
