What you work on:

  • All phases of the product development cycle including:
    • requirements definition & architecture,
    • FPGA digital design,
    • implementing FPGA IP, unit test,
    • IP/hardware integration,
    • hardware bring-up, verification and validation
    • customer support
  • Conduct and oversee code development, design reviews, testing, debugging, and IP/hardware integration.
  • Drive or participate in process and standards improvement efforts.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership in a non-supervisory capacity for complex engineering projects.
  • Support project planning, management, and reporting efforts including task definition and work effort.
  • Mentoring other FPGA Engineers is a plus
  • Developing & identifying tools / methods for better design reuse & process improvement

Our Technologies:

  • Autonomous systems platforms utilizing high speed, complex microprocessor / DSP / ISP, SoC, SoM and FPGA devices and peripherals (DDR, Flash, PMIC, etc.)
  • Advanced image sensors, automotive and industrial radar sensors, GPS and other sensing technologies
  • High speed interfaces including USB3, Gigabit Ethernet\RGMII, SATA, PCIe, FPGA serial transceivers
  • Embedded camera, video processing and computer vision
  • Electrification (Control and Power Systems)

  • Access to advanced, sometimes unreleased technologies

What you need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering discipline along with relevant experience and/or equivalent combination
  • Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read schematics and debug digital hardware using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, or similar tools for troubleshooting.
  • Developing FPGA modules or IP with Verilog or System Verilog
  • Experience with HDL, RTL, Digital Design for FPGA Devices
  • Developing constraints and modifying FPGA designs to close timing
  • Creating Real-time data pipelines
  • Experience using Quartus for Intel FPGAs
  • Experience with Lattice Diamond and/or Xilinx Vivado a plus
  • Developing modules or IP for image processing is highly desirable
  • Creating test benches, Creating and Performing Simulations on modules
  • Experience using FGPA vendor specific logic analyzers (examples: SignalTap, ChipScopeTM and Reveal)
  • Experience in mitigating metastability for setup and hold violations in clock domain crossings and/or asynchronous data sampling
  • Experience with embedded camera and video processing is desirable.
