Customer Service Rep
GDH Consulting has an enterprise client in Austin, TX needing help with an onsite customer service position M-F. You will be taking in bound calls from clients regarding rebates and special promotions. This is a 2-3 month contract.
As a customer service rep you will provide information and assistance to contractors, builders, customers, employees, and others including but not limited to:
Utilize computers to enter data and prepare reports including but not limited to:
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Associate's Degree or the equivalent job related experience
Demonstrated ability in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers, photocopiers, and applicable software.
Working knowledge of company's policies, procedures, and use of terminology applicable to position.
Working knowledge and training related to:
Operating functions and related procedures
Safety and health
Word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Maintain physical and/or electronic filing systems
Handling confidential and/or sensitive information
Generally accepted standards for grammar and punctuation
Working knowledge of various types of manuals, forms, publications and reports.
Experience interacting and communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Able to operate office tools and equipment required.
Communicate and/or exchange information and instructions.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
