Description

Our client, a global manufacturer, is searching for a Customer Service Logistics Representative in Purchase, New York. The Customer Service Logistics Representative will report to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities for the Customer Service Logistics Representative include but are not limited to:
  • Respond to customer inquiries in timely matter
  • Enter orders in computer system - SAP, MS AX
  • Send customers order confirmations
  • Follow time sensitive orders
  • Organize deliveries from various warehouse/overseas
  • Provide customers with copies of invoices and POD's as requested by customers
  • Back up logistic manager in tracking shipments for customer
  • Order truck when logistic manager is unavailable
  • Container inbound tracking
  • Ensure orders are picked up by trucking companies
  • Assist logistics Manager with cost provisioning
  • Logistics - OIA, Myers Container/Graphic - loads support/trucking
  • Requirements for the Customer Service Logistics Representative include:
  • University degree, Business Administration, Accounting, preferred
  • Experience in the paper, printing and packaging sectors
  • Professional experience of 2 years in a sales team
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP
  • Familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, and Access
  • Fluent in English, Spanish an asset
