The Control Points Engineer position will lead the day-to-day operations at our plant in Casa Grande, AZ. In this position, you will lead the in-line inspection process (Control points), create a strong network to achieve one goal, and ensure acceptance criteria alignment to the voice of the customer (Predelivery and VOC). This is a unique opportunity to set up and run a world-class plant to build a world-class vehicle.

  • You Will:

  • Ensure all employees follow industry-standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Create an environment where every employee is valued for their contributions, and they understand how they impact the success of the company.
  • Develop and implement robust training plans for Control Points Team Members
  • Specify all tooling and equipment for all current and planned quality inspection needs.
  • Modify inspection criteria based on the voice of the customer and deploy it to all team members.
  • Activate expedited in-line inspection processes to protect the customer.
  • Rebalance inspection process based on priorities and workload.
  • Protect the customer with a strong control point inspection wall.
  • You Bring:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or three years of equivalent experience required.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to build outstanding teams and interface well with senior management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
  • Experience methodizing production workstations for ergonomics and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment for the automotive industry.
  • Experience in factory environments hiring and training associates to support new products and processes.
  • Exemplary verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Kaizen 5S, and Six Sigma process.
  • Capability to implement and drive a quality operating system within a department.
