The Technical Advisory Division is one of the fastest-growing areas in Arcadis, and we are actively recruiting for a Construction Monitoring Consultant to join us in the Washington DC area. By joining our Technical Due Diligence team as a Construction Monitoring / Due Diligence Consultant, you will get the experience and personalized learning support you need to take your career as far as you want it to go. We are seeking to locate a career-minded professional to deliver service excellence in providing project-monitoring solutions. This role is a Hybrid position and requires 2-3 days per week in our DC offices. Role accountabilities: Competent to be able to independently undertake, lead and deliver Technical Due Diligence reports for funder and investor clients. Able to review individual elements of a project at the Due Diligence Technical initial report stage and experienced in reviewing risk during the monitoring phase of the project. Able to lead and co-ordinate Due Diligence Technical reports prepared by others and collate overall risk assessments for each individual element, taking into account the impact of separate elements on the overall project. Provide diligent ongoing monitoring during construction and approving draw-downs from the agreed fund. Be client facing and be able to engage with clients on a regular basis to build relationships as part of a business development strategy. Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner at all times. Effective communication ensuring all information is available for the successful completion of projects. To liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control resulting in projects being cost effective Qualifications & Experience: Relevant professional qualifications such as RA, PE, MRICS etc. are highly preferred. Knowledge and understanding of property development, market trends in procurement and funding of projects. Literate and able to produce detailed due diligence reports focusing on cost, schedule and quality on behalf of a funder. Capable of reviewing loan documentation to identify and monitor clauses for compliance and risk reports. Able to recognise and catalogue financial security being provided by the Borrower (e.g. warranties, Third Party Rights, Performance Bonds, Cost Overrun Cash Deposits, etc.). Proven networks and experience Successful track record working in a client facing role. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction related degree Advanced IT Literacy and no to low code application experience preferred Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.
