Job Description: The Building Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising staff that is responsible for building and equipment maintenance, coordinate contractors, and work closely with the Director of Maintenance in responsibilities related to the department. Duties Include: Supervise all Maintenance Line & Lead employees for building maintenance. Support operations staff with maintenance services. Schedule & oversee contractors for building and equipment maintenance. Communicate with Facility Coordinators & other staff for resident maintenance service. Assist with setting annual budget with Director of Maintenance. Weekend and evening on-call per rotational schedule. Ensure proper environment is provided for work safety. Coach/Counsel and provide performance reviews for department staff. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Three to five years of experience in maintenance or related field preferred. Strong understanding of construction, electrical and plumbing required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and management skills. Ability to work without close supervision while maintaining standards of conduct and job performance. Frequent walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
