Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Outstanding GC - Charleston will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and coordinating all project resources from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery in a collaborative setting.
- Managing team development and performance.
- Setting job expectations, enforcing policies and procedures, and guiding and mentoring team members.
- Conducting regular meetings to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with technical, safety, and legal standards, and stay within budget.
- Applying strategic problem-solving skills to enhance project value.
- Collaborating with the pre-construction team during project development.
- Handling budget management and financial reporting, analyzing reports to maintain budget adherence.
Profile

The successful Assistant Project Manager - Outstanding GC - Charleston will have the following experience:
- At least 5 years of construction experience with a general contractor, with a strong focus on large-scale commercial or healthcare projects.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Project Management Software is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- A professional demeanor with a business-oriented approach in all interactions.

- A competitive base salary of $90,000 to $110,000.
