Key responsibilities of a Civil Construction Assistant Project Manager include:
- Project Coordination: Assist in planning and scheduling project tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Documentation Management: Organize and maintain project documents, including contracts and reports.
- Communication: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Budget Monitoring: Help track expenses and assist in budget management to ensure financial efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify issues and contribute to developing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to assess progress and gather information for reporting.
Profile
A successful Civil Construction Assistant Project Manager
- Excels in organization and communication, effectively coordinating project tasks and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Possess a solid understanding of construction processes and regulations, enabling them to monitor quality and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills, they proactively address challenges, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage documentation and reporting help maintain clear records and facilitate smooth project operations, earning the trust of stakeholders and contributing to overall project success.
- Proficiency using HCSS software as well as AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience working on highway and DOT projects is required.
