AutoBidMaster is actively seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help carry out the duties of the Accounting Department. Our team is looking for someone with a strong GL foundation and in-depth GAAP knowledge. This is a great place for you to grow your skills while remaining hands-on. This position will be responsible for general accounting, including preparing journal entries, customer invoicing, general ledger, account, and bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll & employee benefits management, among other duties as assigned. The accountant will also work closely with different departments and other members of the accounting team and assist with monthly closings, account analysis, and other special projects. This position is full-time and reports directly to the CEO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Payroll & payroll tax filings

- Employee benefits management

- Oversee daily/weekly/monthly customer invoicing process
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses, weekly cash reports, and bank reconciliations

- Prepare budgets and projections
- General ledger operations, filing, and records retention
- Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Respond to incoming emails and provide customer support regarding accounting issues

- Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting
- Credit card reconciliations and communication for obtaining supporting documentation

- Define and implement process improvements with accounting

- Reviewing financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data

-Executing and assisting in special and analytical projects as directed

- Supervising processes and personnel as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Qualifications:

- 3 years of relevant work experience

- A Bachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Broad GL fundamental accounting knowledge (debits, credits, building trial balance)
- Strong AP, AR, and reconciliation experience
- Knowledge of finance principles and financial reporting
- Must be skilled in the use of QuickBooks
- Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software, including leading business applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), Adobe, etc.

-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have the ability to work autonomously, be goal and deadline-driven, with a high degree of both data and personal integrity

-The successful candidate must have the initiative and drive for increased responsibilities while looking for better, easier, and smarter ways to deliver information
- Must possess outstanding organizational skills and be able to work in an environment that requires multitasking and adaptability
- Must be proactive, analytical, organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated, and a strong team player

Hours and Working Conditions:

- 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Location: Office located near PDX and Cascade Station
- Compensation: Depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation structure inclusive of yearly KPI bonus, health benefits, paid time off, and holidays

Salary: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
