Operations Field Technician (Farmington, NM)

This posting is for an Operations Field Technician in the South San Juan Asset, located in Farmington, New Mexico. This position reports to the Animas Team Leader. As Operations Technician, you are responsible for the safe operations of SJS gas wells. The Operations Tech plays a key role in managing the South Asset's daily production performance by assuring that Area wells are optimized and maintained to allow gas production from each well to meet production targets while maintaining high focus on HSE for all field and midstream staff. Work closely with team members, Optimizers, and all other functions of the Operating Center. Responsible for approximately 110 gas wells, 61 wellhead compressors, plunger maintenance and daily operations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Operations Field Technician applicants must have:

- Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of oil field operations
- Ability to work in a team environment; excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to recognize other people's abilities and share ideas and success
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to work well with multiple tasks and under tight deadlines
- Demonstrate organizational skills and self-motivation
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
